It was one of our last days in Japan. The trip was coming to an end, so it was time to use up the remaining film rolls to capture street scenes.
CineStill actually performs very well during the day. For those, I had to put a 2-stop ND filter to make things a little darker. Not a problem at all!






People in Japan seem to always be in a hurry. Many of them start running when a traffic light changes, or when subway doors open. I tried to capture this spirit in this shot:

CineStill 800T and subway shots are something very “Blader Runner-ish”. I like to call it “The Runner’s Blade”, refering to the dashing commuter’s life cutting through the above traffic.

Cinestill is working so well here but I really love this batch too, so much energy in the shots with the people, balanced out nicely with the more static shop fronts.
Love the scanning style here. Turned out great!!
