About

I’m a photographer with a deep passion for storytelling, capturing the essence of life’s moments through both film and digital mediums. Based in New York City, I find inspiration in the vibrant energy of everyday surroundings and cherish the art of creating images that resonate beyond fleeting trends.

My journey into film photography has reshaped my artistic approach. Rediscovering my connection to photography through my mother’s old negatives and a vintage Canon L35AF camera, I’ve embraced the philosophy of slow, deliberate creation. Film has taught me the value of consistency and reflection—using the same film stocks over time has helped me craft a signature style that feels uniquely mine. This process has deepened my understanding of light, color, and the stories an image can tell.

In a fast-paced, digital-first world, I appreciate the balance film photography brings. Much like how vinyl records offer a complete artistic experience compared to the fragmented nature of music streaming, film photography invites us to consume art as a whole—to be thoughtful, intentional, and fully present.

I believe in striking a balance between authenticity and innovation. While I accept light editing for color correction or cropping film scans, I value the integrity of the original capture. This perspective extends to my workflow, where tools like a bubble level help minimize post-processing, allowing me to stay true to the medium.

Beyond photography, I enjoy sharing my insights through blogging, exploring topics like the intersection of analog and digital processes, the philosophy of editing, and how photography helps us define our artistic language. Whether I’m wandering the streets of New York or documenting family moments, my goal is always the same: to tell a story that lingers.
